Ugh, allergies, mood swings & sleep deprivation. I think I’ve taken care of all my work for this afternoon at least. Wondering whether I should spend the next few hours making happy Doctor Who graphics or lying in bed listening to Mumford & Sons thinking about Cuthbert/Roland and crying. Either sounds good, it’d be nice to get all fannish about something that wasn’t SPN.
I know it’s cowardly and apathetic to stick my head in the sand, since this stuff doesn’t trigger me, but I don’t really have anything to contribute; y’all know where I stand and you know who the brilliant gorgeous people are who are saying things so well about all this.
rereading the dark tower series
remembering one of the reasons i like these books is the ambiguously poly nature of the ka-tet group. both roland/eddie/susannah and roland/cuthbert/alain/susan. also remembering why i got so mad at stephen king in the later books. wtf eddie did not see roland as a father figure, you are never going to get me to buy that, ever
i haven’t gotten to rereading wizard & glass yet but i remember onesided cuthbert/roland being practically canon. and susannah and eddie both kiss roland in book two! i mean come on.
but yeah i should also recommend you this fic which does roland/eddie/susannah/jake and does it well and makes it non-creepy and a;ldghflshlhkkf.
